Samantha and Shane—who previously dated costar Bridgit Mendler from 2011 to 2015—first met on the Disney Channel series when the latter’s Spencer Walsh cheated on Bridgit’s character Teddy Duncan with Samantha’s Skyler.
When Skyler learned about the infidelity, she broke up with him and ultimately dated Teddy’s brother PJ Duncan (Jason Dolley). Meanwhile, after their own split, Teddy and Spencer eventually made up and were back together by the show’s 2014 finale.
But Samantha and Shane, 32, aren’t the only Good Luck Charlie stars to have some luck finding love. In fact, Bridgit, 32, tied the knot with Griffin Cleverly in 2019 and most recently, Bradley Steven Perry, who played younger brother Gabe Duncan, married Natasha Bure.
