Madeline Brewer’s take on the You series finale? Sorry not sorry.
Indeed, the actress’ character Brontë was the lucky woman to finally bring down Penn Badgley’s serial killer Joe Goldberg and end his reign of terror—and she thinks You’s protagonist got exactly what he deserved.
“I love the way we ended the show,” Madeline told E! News at People’s App Party April 29. “I feel very happy and satisfied as a fan. Thank you for those who love it, and for those who don’t, better luck next time.”
Thankfully, the Orange is the New Black alum didn’t have to go far from home to hear from one of those satisfied fans.
As Madeline revealed, “My dad, who does not stay up past like 9 p.m. texted me at like 11 o’clock and was like, ‘I just finished. I finished the whole thing. I watched it all day.’”
