Citizenship classes to be offered in Austin

Austin Adult Learning and the International Institute of Minnesota are partnering in an effort to get as many qualified community members their citizenship over a two-year effort.

Austin Adult Learning will be offering online classes to help students pass the English/Civics test and offering personalized help in applying

Information sessions will be held Tuesday and Wednesday at 11-11:30 a.m. and 5-5:30 p.m. respectively.

Citizenship online classes, which will be held in Room C133 at the Riverland East Building, will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. from Feb. 11-May 1. People can register for class from 4-5:30 p.m. on Feb. 3 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb. 4 in Riverland East, Room C138.

These classes are free and more will be starting throughout the year.
