Nilüfer Yanya has shared the latest single from her forthcoming album, My Method Actor. “Call It Love” is the third offering from the LP, which is out September 13 on Ninja Tune. Check out Yanya’s serene visualizer for the new track below.
“It takes a certain kind of bravery to fully trust your instincts,” Yanya said of her new song’s inspiration in a press release. “It’s about allowing your calling to lead you, to let it guide you somewhere. Let that consume you and destroy you.”
In April, Yanya released the first single from My Method Actor—“Like I Say (I Runaway)”—though the album wasn’t officially announced until June. The track also marked Yanya’s recording debut on Ninja Tune. “Like I Say (I Runaway)” was Yanya’s first taste of new music in two years, following the release of her sophomore full-length, Painless.
Yanya penned My Method Actor alongside her creative partner Wilma Archer, writing and recording its 10 songs in London, Eastbourne, and Wales. Yanya will embark on a tour behind her upcoming album in late September, playing in cities across North America, Europe, and England.
