Monday’s storm brought mostly tree damage to several areas of Austin. Todd Park, East Side Lake, and Sutton Park all had full trees down.
It was reported that 4th St. SW/NW going east to 218 south to 21st St. NE/SE received some of the stronger winds.
In some residential areas on either side of East Side Lake had full trees down. It was this area that had several large branches broken off trees. It was reported that larger debris could be seen on the sidewalks and street parking areas in east Austin.
Going west from the 4th St. SW/NW area, leaf litter, small branches, and occasional bigger tree pieces could be seen.
Austin Police were not notified of power outages or major damage to residences, though it is likely some minor damage may have occurred.
