Winter weather advisory to be issued as system begins moving in

With incoming snow possibly bringing a combined total through day and night of up to seven inches, the National Weather Service will be putting the area into a winter weather advisory starting at 2 p.m. this afternoon.
Snow will begin following mostly after 1 p.m. according to the NWS and could result in 1 to 3 inches of snow this afternoon and another 2 to 4 inches of snow possible during the night time hours.
Winds are also expected to be gusty with wind gusts up to 37 mph possible.
