STORRS, Conn. (WTNH) — Dan Hurley and the UConn men’s basketball team will be honored for its 2024 NCAA championship at the White House on Sept. 10.
Connecticut will visit on the same day as the 2023-24 South Carolina women’s team, and President Joe Biden will welcome the two championship programs for a celebration.
UConn went 37-3 last season, setting a program record for wins and winning the BIG EAST regular season, BIG EAST Tournament and NCAA Championship.
The Huskies became the first team in 17 years to win back-to-back national championships and the sixth title in program history.
