Route 9 South in Cromwell reopens following crash
CROMWELL, Conn. (WTNH) — The southbound side of Route 9 in Cromwell has reopened after being closed due to a car collision with serious injuries.
This morning at 8:11, state police Troop H and the local fire department responded to a car collision on Route 9 in the area of Exit 25.
Officials say one person has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries. As an investigation was taking place, state police urged drivers to seek alternate routes and prepare for delays in the area. Route 9 was reopened after 11:00 a.m.
