Police investigating double shooting at Ansonia club

ANSONIA, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are investigating after a fight led to a double shooting at a club early Saturday morning in Ansonia.
Around 2:00 a.m., police were called to a disturbance in the area of Father Salemi Dr. where they say a party ended after a fight broke out between attendees. By the time officers arrived, those involved had left the scene.
Shortly after leaving the area, officers were called back to Father Salemi Dr. for a double shooting at the Saint Sebastian Club.
A 27-year-old Ansonia resident was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. He was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
While investigating, officials located another gunshot victim. The second victim is a 26-year-old male from Ansonia who was shot in the buttocks. His injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.
