Operators of Ukraine’s drone forces destroyed a Russian stockpile of rocket and artillery weapons, Commander of the Ukrainian UAV Forces Robert “Madiar” Brovdi reports.

They also struck critical energy infrastructure targets in temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk Oblast and Crimea.

Russia is using Ukrainian-occupied territories as a staging ground for its offensives and is attacking Ukrainian-controlled areas.

“Myrna” 330 kV substation near Mariupol was hit

According to Brovdi, during the night of 12–13 January, the “Myrna” 330 kV substation near Mariupol was hit, a key node in the energy supply system and a transit station for the “Azovska” substation.

This facility plays a crucial role in supplying electricity to the occupiers’ infrastructure, including industrial and military consumers, making it a strategic target in the context of a prolonged war.

Crimean direction and Russian military-industrial interests: strike on industry

The “Azovska” 220 kV substation near Staryi Krym was also hit, which Brovdi described as a critical element of the region’s industrial power supply in the interests of Russia’s military-industrial complex.

Strikes on such facilities limit the enemy’s ability to maintain repair enterprises, warehouses, and supply hubs, directly affecting Russia’s capacity to wage war on occupied territories.

In addition to Russian targets, Ukrainian drone operators destroyed a missile and artillery ammunition depot of Russia’s 51st Army in Makiivka.

A rear logistics point located at an oil depot in Makiivka was also struck, further complicating fuel and material supply to Russian units at the front.

Deep strike center: a new level of coordination

According to Brovdi, the operation was carried out by operators from the 1st Separate Unmanned Systems Center and the “Kairos” Battalion of the 414th Unmanned Systems Brigade, under the coordination of the newly established Deep Strike Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces Grouping.
