MacPaw Unveils Redesigned ClearVPN App With One-Tap Interface

After opening the app, just tap the large button to connect to the VPN. The app will use an algorithm to determine the best server for your needs by analyzing a number of factors including location, proximity to servers, service availability, server load, and distance between servers.

If you want to manually select a country or see server details, head to the connections settings at the bottom the main screen. That’s where you can also access streaming mode and optimal location VPN.

The VPN features servers in more than 45 countries. With an eye on privacy, the VPN features top-tier encryption and a no-log policy.

One of the features of the updated app includes a homescreen widget so you can connect to a VPN without needing to open up the app. The app also supports Siri Shortcuts that open up a number of different options like automatically turning on a VPN when connected to a public Wi-Fi network.

ClearVPN is for the iPhone and Mac. It’s a free download on the App Store now.

You’ll need a subscription to use the service. It’s a available for $9.99 per month or $44.99 yearly with a free, three-day trial.

With a subscription, you can use ClearVPN on up to six devices.
